Water Technology Research was established in 1980 to carry out training, consultancy and
research in all aspects of water science and technology.  Today the Water Technology
Research Group continues this work.  The group is the personal research team of Professor
Nick Gray and is based in the
Centre for the Environment at Trinity College Dublin (TCD).  
Current research focuses on large scale wastewater and water treatment systems, and also
the impact of pollutants on recieiving waters, especially acid mine drainage. Work on
sustainability,especially carbon footprinting is covered separately..
